BROCHURE DESIGN
Problem To Solve
Heading off to an international conference, Powerstorm needed a dynamic and exciting brochure to show
engineers and investors everything they needed to
know on their mobile generators.
Solution
Given the international audience, and that English may not be someone’s first language a simple and easy to use design, relying heavily on color blocking was chosen.

A LIGHT
IN THE DARK
Whenever you design one piece for two differing demographics, it's a challenge. When the two audiences are international engineers and investors it becomes an even bigger problem.
Powerstorm needed a brochure that functioned for both engineers and investors who may not be native English speakers. To counter that, a simple, modern and easy to use and understand brochure was created, letting visuals tell most of the story.
Powerstorm portable generators brought electricity to areas of Africa and the third world, where it had not existed before. For the first time, there was light in the night allowing children to learn late into the evening and keeping medicines fresh.
DETAIL
FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT
Given that half of the demographic was engineers, detail and data was needed in order for them to make purchasing decisions.
The data sheets needed to fit into the established look and feel of the designs, yet easy to read and understand for non English speakers.
COLOR
A BOLD CHOICE
One of the aspects of the design, was to take the user from the dark to the light. To do that, bold color was needed to not only help engage the reader, but create a dynamic and exciting design.
